FRP (Fibre reinforced plastics) also (fibre-reinforced polymers) or GRP (Glass fibre reinforced polymers) is a composite material. The polymer are usually an epoxy and vinyl ester or polyester thermosetting plastic resins still used. The fibre is usually glass, carbon high-performance composites when they are heated above their activation temperatures and will exhibit high strength and stiffness at lower temperatures.
